Decision Models After evaluating the provided OpenRules® decision models, you may want to create and execute your own decision models to better understand the power of OpenRules®. You may access a remote execution website using the following URL You will be able to use a graphical interface similar to the one below: |
From here you may execute other standard projects:
DecisionHello: http://openrules.com/DecisionHello.xls
DecisionHelloError: http://openrules.com/DecisionHelloError.xls
DecisionPatientTherapy: http://openrules.com/DecisionPatientTherapy.xls (read more)
DecisionVacationDays: http://openrules.com/DecisionVacationDays.xls
DecisionUpSell: http://openrules.com/DecisionUpSell.xls

For the evaluation purposes you do not have to create any custom Java classes. You simply define your decision model in one Excel file. Your main decision name should be "Main". Please note that your Environment table should refer to the standard OpenRules templates as below:
You may create and execute your own decision model similar to the above ones from the OpenRules Sandbox.

Hopefully, you will find these capabilities to be sufficient for your evaluation. However, if you want to try other OpenRules® capabilities (like integrating your decision model with your own Java objects, debugging, producing execution reports in HTML, and more), you may download the executable evaluation version and install it locally or go for the complete production download with all additional components.
Feel free to contact OpenRules® technical support at support@openrules.com with any questions or issues you may have. See also the Discussion Forum.
