EDISON, NJ -- September 23, 2005 -- OpenRules, Inc. announced today an availability of a new release of OpenRules 2.2.0 that essentially simplifies project configuration and empowers integration with different web application servers and development frameworks. Following customer's recommendations "from the trenches", OpenRules 2.2.0 introduces such new features as:

bullet A new OpenRulesEngine for a flexible integration of OpenRules-based applications with application servers like Tomcat or WebLogic and development frameworks like Spring
 
bulletOne default repository for all necessary jar-files and build-files
 
bulletOne default language configuration "openrules.java" that supports both pure rule projects and web applications with Excel-based forms
 
bulletOne property file that defines all application specific properties
 
bulletNew practical examples of dynamic rules-based web applications.

Simultaneously with the Release 2.2.0, OpenRules, Inc. introduced Inside Track, a new dynamic program for professional developers who already understand OpenRules' basics and who deal with advanced configuration and/or development issues.
