What People Say

Custom Add-Ons  are optional software components and documents that were created for or by OpenRules customers.  Currently available custom add-ons:

bullet

Java Convenience Tools:  commonly used Java classes with predefined methods for printing, logging, formatting, input validation, database communication, operator implementation, and more.  These tools are a part of the standard OpenRules distribution.  See project com.openrules.tools - freely available

bullet

Forms Library: an optional library of typical interaction constructions, form layouts, and predefined data types for OpenRules Forms.  This library is a part of the standard OpenRules distribution project, openrules.forms.lib - freely available

bullet

JSR-94 Support: OpenRules projects with a reference implementation of the JSR94 standard - freely available.

OpenRules custom add-ons may be created in two ways:

  1. By OpenRules: you may ask OpenRules, Inc. to develop a special add-on and make it available to all (only with your permission)

  2. By a customer: you may create your own add-on and send it to OpenRules.  If your add-on is in interest to other customers, OpenRules will discuss distribution conditions with your and may include it in the standard list of recommended add-ons. OpenRules will always provide the proper references to the add-on authors.
